CHARITABLE GIVING

We are excited to announce our new Beers for Good charitable giving program!

Although we have been informally hosting nonprofit events for years, we have finally decided to formalize the program to reach more organizations in need within our community. Every Tuesday we will donate a $1 per pint to a local nonprofit from 5 – 9pm.  

To be eligible to host an event:

Organizations must be a 501(c)3 status and have a mission that supports one of the following:

  • Human Services

  • Education

  • Arts and Culture

  • Environment

Who we do not partner with:

  • Political or religious organizations

  • Individual/private fundraisers

  • Professional groups, networking events, conferences or conventions

 

We require:

  • Nonprofits create and share Facebook event

  • Send out a press release and email to members of your organization

  • Provide informational material about your group in the form of fliers or a poster

  • At least one representative from your organization is in attendance

  • As a general principle, only one night per charity per year

 

We suggest:

Organizing a silent auction, raffle or interactive fundraiser 

 

Populuxe requests one month after the event to calculate and write a check for their donation to the respective charity. We require a tax donation receipt from the organization. The check will be available at the taproom for collection – the organization will be emailed when it’s ready and must provide a paper copy of the tax receipt to the taproom staff to receive the check.

 

Please note, Populuxe Brewing does not donate product or merchandise for auctions, raffles or events.
